Mayhem Vol 1 Betabook, Version 4.

Postby Maugh » Mon Oct 11, 2010 4:04 pm

Okay. So this is still a work in progress, but I got it to compress down to 17 MB for the PDF, and 14 MB for the zip, which is functional. Which is good.

The main link on the website should work with the current betabook. Let me know if there are any problems or suggestions.

Any feedback for the new book?

I don't know, but I'm working on it right now, and as always, I'd like to post a new one soon. Preferably without the spreads.

left and right pages on one document. Design term. A "spread" is what you're looking at, all the way from the left to all the way to the right. Generally 2 pages, although a title page is frequently a single spread, and a foldout or insert is longer than 2 pages, but still one spread.

Yeah, trying to print it 'as is' was kind of a bitch. I attempted it for over an hour, with minimal luck.

Give me a little more time. I will get you an easier-to-print version. There are just a lot of minor things that I need to do to make that work well.

Fix the major things. Worry about the minor things later.
