vulcanic

Okay. so I was thinking his hair could be a dark crimson red. could look cool.
Feel free to mix and match on all the options.

All the like buttons or spikes or buckles would be cool made out of onyx, rubies, and embers.

The flowy cloth would be alternations of fire colors and it could be all cool like when they move the cloth flowes and shifts like fire.

the eyes I was wondering if the irises could be like red hot glowy. could be creepy/cool. let me know what you think haha!

Also if you would like his anatomy changed at all to be like any one of the other kami, let me know. so Far I was thinking his legs could be kinda slender lookin compaired to his shoulders. but over all a slender, graceful figure.

He's a hot headed adgile little flame thrower. haha!

to speed things up a bit i desided to combine the next two steps of the drawn out character pose, and the basic colors. any suggestions or changes, even drastic ones, fear not to make them :)

Feedback!

First off, the color scheme turned out reallly well, the facial expression works really well, and the center of the coat , the belts and bands work really well, as does the red lining at the center of the character.

We have some additional feedback, however. More specifically, the way that the frills, the whispy things on the sleeves and coat are don't look like they're falling naturally. The outward flare makes it look somewhat stiff, and loses some of the realism.

Some examples of ratted cloaks/coats:

Second, I'm not sure I like the ears. I don't know exactly what would fix them, sorry, but they bug me for some reason.

Last in feedback, the eyes look quite good in this one, but the Sunakami does it better. I like the idea of the Kami being a little less human, and the flat-colored, slightly alien eyes work for the Kami. We should do that for this one. It may be as simple as using that bright red color for the whole eye instead of just the iris.

As a final note. It is probably a good idea to do inks and get feedback before jumping to flats. fixing the line-art on the flares is going to affect the flats, and you did a good job on those. I hate to make you re-do the work.

Thanks for your work, I do like the direction, the cloak just needs some work. Hope the examples help.
