With the shift from a D8 to an 8, it changes the probabilities a bit. Instead of d8vd6, it's d12 v. 6

d12 v 6 is 58%, and d12 v 8 is 42% so 58/42 = 1.40x

Shift from 6-->8 a bigger deal than d6-->d8.

Conclusion: Avoid all characters with a d6 dodge.

Happily, 6-->7 is the same as 7-->8, which makes balancing easier.

I forget how dang important a higher dodge is in Warmage. Doubly important now that it's a number, and not a die.

Or get a shield. Defense is awesome. In the game, getting a shield means you're basically trading a second attack for a much better defense.

You need to update me on the rules for that game. It has changed quite a bit since I played it.

One weapon=one attack.
Can you attack with a shield?
Does the use of a special ability count as an attack?
Or are all the specials Triggers and Passive?

Write out the rules so I can break them. Until the rules are fixed, the game can't be balanced.
Ie: Do dead players draw cards? Do they keep their hands?

Also, snowballs a bit much. Ie, whoever starts to die first pretty much loses.

Snowballing a fatal issue with the game. With no range or proximity rule, everyone concentrates fire on one opponent. Assuming a 3v3, it becomes 3v2, then 3v1, as the winning team can keep concentrating fire.

The reverse side 'dead' characters need to be even stronger than the front side. Less 'dead' and more 'werewolf transform'.
